Every tour you've ever done. One map.

Pedaltales is a tour diary for cyclists, hikers, and bikepackers. Drop in your GPX files and watch years of adventures come together on one beautiful map — the rides you loved, the trails you forgot, the places you still want to go back to.

The Pedaltales app: a tour list beside a map with every tour drawn on it, the selected ride highlighted with its elevation and speed profile in a details panel

Years of adventures, buried in a training app.

Your tours are all in there somewhere — Komoot, Strava, a Garmin account. But they're filed away as workouts: a feed of dates, distances, and averages. There's no place to zoom out and see everything you've explored — and a year later, when you're planning a trip, you can't remember which valley had that perfect gravel road.

Your tours become one atlas — in minutes.

  1. Drop in your GPX files

Export from Strava, Komoot, Garmin, or any GPS device. Drag, drop, done — and combine a multi-day trip into one tour.
  2. See everywhere you've been

All your tours on one map. Click any line and relive it: route, dates, distance, elevation, and who was with you.
  3. Share the story, not the stats

Turn any tour into a beautiful image for your story or feed — route, dates, distance. No screenshots of a stats screen. Or turn your whole atlas into one picture.

One map, your whole outdoor life

Cycling, mountain biking, hiking, running, walking, skiing — every activity type, side by side.

Real tours, not workouts

A three-day bikepacking trip is one story, not three activities. Combine, rename, and organize your history the way you remember it.

The people who were there

Add companions by email — the tour appears in their atlas too. No account needed when you add them.

Yours, honestly

Free. No ads, no data selling. Your GPX files stay yours, and you can delete everything, anytime.

Why Pedaltales exists

I love discovery rides — pointing my bike somewhere new and seeing what happens. But my favorite days out were dissolving into a soup of GPX files and fitness graphs. I didn't want another training app; I wanted a place where my tours could live. So I built one. If you ride, hike, or wander for the places rather than the numbers, Pedaltales is for you.

Does it replace Strava or Komoot?

No — keep tracking and planning wherever you like. Pedaltales is where tours live afterwards. Export your GPX from any app or device and drop it in.

Do my riding buddies need an account?

No. Add them by email; the tour is waiting in their atlas whenever they sign in.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Pedaltales is a passion project, free to use, with no ads and no selling of your data.
