How to export a GPX file from Komoot
Every Komoot Tour — the ones you recorded and the ones you only planned — can leave as a GPX file from the website, no premium subscription required.
Open the Tour on the Komoot website
Sign in at komoot.com in a browser, open your profile, and pick the Tour under “Tours” — completed and planned Tours both live there.Open the ⋯ menu next to the Tour title
On the Tour page, click the three-dot menu near the title.Choose “Export GPX”
The .gpx file lands in your downloads. For a recorded Tour that's the track you actually rode, with elevation; for a planned Tour it's the plotted route.
Good to know
Multi-day trips come as one file per day
If you recorded each day as its own Tour, export each day's GPX. That's fine — the days can be combined into one tour again afterwards.
Someone else's public Tour
Public Tours by other people offer the same export from their Tour page — handy when a friend recorded the trip and you didn't.
Now give the file a home.
Drop the GPX into Pedaltales and it becomes a tour on your map — beside every trip you've ever done. Free, no ads, and no account to connect: the file is all it needs. With a few tours in, make one picture of all of them.
Start your atlas — it's freeNo password, no credit card, no Strava account to connect. Just your email.
